365일 24시간 4,100여대의 CCTV를 통해 생활 속 위험요인을 상시 모니터링하고 있는 양주시통합관제센터는 지난 2019년 옥정신도시 스마트시티 복합센터 내 자리를 잡고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다.

특히, 방범·무단투기·교통·주정차 등 목적별 CCTV 1,113개소 4,045대를 다목적 CCTV로 전환·운영하고, 우범지역 범죄예방을 위한 방범 CCTV 316개소와 LED․위치안내판, 비상벨 등을 설치, 시민의 안전보호와 편의향상에 주력했다.
