(Namyangju = Break News Northeast Gyeonggi) = Namyangju City Mayor Jo Gwang-han visited Hwado-eup on the 15th to see flower paths and photo exhibitions built on bicycle paths near Maseok Plaza, and to confirm the completion of the Maseok Rainy Trail (Greenway) project.

The visit was attended by Rep. Lee Sang-gi of Namyangju City Council, heads of local organizations in Hwado-eup, heads of social groups, and citizens. After arriving at the site, Mayor Jo Gwang-han took a commemorative photo with the flower road in the background and praised the efforts of the Hwado-eup Presidents' Council for their efforts to create the flower road.

Previously, the Hwadosu-dong Administrative Welfare Center, together with the Hwado-eup Heads Council, demolished the street vendors that had been operating illegally for 10 years on the promenade and bicycle path of Maseok Old Town in March, and disposed of discarded remnants and unauthorized dumping garbage.

The Hwado-eup Directors' Council started planting plants on April 7 as the bicycle road that had been repaired was opened on March 29, and for about six months, a flower path and flower beds were created near Maseok Plaza.

Hwadosu-dong Administrative Welfare Center produced and exhibited a total of 62 pieces of old photos of the old Maseok Market Street on both sides of the bicycle road and photos of Mr. It was created as a healing path for citizens.

Mayor Jo Gwang-han suggested, “It would be better to change the lighting to match the mood by replacing the cold lighting with the warm lighting to match the feeling of the street where flowers and photos are displayed.”

After that, Mayor Cho moved to the Maseok Rainy Trail (Greenway) and walked with the heads of social groups to the point of completion, checking the completion of the construction and exchanging opinions on matters requiring additional installation.

After the inspection, Rep. Lee Sang-ki of Namyangju City Council said, "I would like to thank the mayor for visiting our area, and I will pay more attention and work hard as a member of the council for regional development."

Kim Yong-wan, president of the Hwado-eup Directors' Council, said, "The public officials worked hard to create the Maseok Rainy Trail, and the heads of directors also worked hard to create the flower path. I hope that the mayor will continue to show affection and care for 120,000 Hwado-eup in the future.”

Mayor Jo Gwang-han said, “I am constantly thinking about finding good ideas that will be convenient for the citizens. We will create spaces that Hwado residents can enjoy, one by one.”

Meanwhile, the Hwadosu-dong Administrative Welfare Center plans to continue to collect data and hold photo exhibitions in the future to promote the management of the Maseok Plaza area as a village cultural area.
