이날 면담에는 한국-캐나다 의원친선협회 회장인 서영교 위원장과 이사인 김병주 의원(더불어민주당, 비례)이 참석했으며, 캐나다 측에서는 조지 퓨리 캐나다 상원의장, 빈센트 맥네일 상원의장 비서실장, 주한캐나다대사관의 루슬란 카츠 정치참사관, 알리나 관 서기관 등이 참석했다.
