수출 지원 사업은 기업의 실질적인 수출 성과 달성을 위해 경기동부상공회의소(회장 문한경), 수출협과 민·관 협력으로 추진돼 여러 기업과 바이어 간 구체적인 수출 협의가 이뤄지고 있다. 특히, 하늘농가(나물류)는 미국 온라인몰, 크리쉐프(군고구마기계)는 H마트에 수출돼 신규 판로를 만들어 냈으며, 영동씨푸드(게장류)는 6,500만 원 수출에 성공했다.

이번 MOU는 시와 경기동부상공회의소가 후원해 공신력을 높였으며, 상호 수출 업무 진행 시 발 빠른 협의와 대응을 위해 뉴경협과 수출협이 협약을 체결하는 방식으로 진행됐다.

시는 이번 협약을 바탕으로 10월 시장 개척단, 미국 상설 무역관 입점 등 후속 사업을 추진해 기업의 수출 판로 개척을 지원하고, 민·관 협력 체제를 공고히 해 수출 기업 저변을 확대하기 위해 노력할 예정이다.
