특히, 단속과 처벌 위주의 일방향적인 점검방식에서 벗어나 자율적 개선을 유도하는 컨설팅 중심으로 진행돼 실질적인 도움을 주는 한편 현장 관리자 및 근로자를 대상으로 한 안전교육도 진행됐다.

시는 지난 4월부터 노동안전지킴이와 함께 관내 건설 현장 및 제조업체 등 산업현장에 대해 총 865회 안전 점검을 실시했으며, 1,992건의 안전조치 미흡 사항을 발견해 적절한 조치를 취하도록 지도했다.
