(남양주=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=남양주시 걷기연맹 화도읍지회(회장 윤순옥)는 지난 10월1일 재재기터널에서 ‘제18회 남양주시장기 걷기대회’(이하 걷기대회)를 성황리 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 개회식에는 주광덕 남양주시장을 비롯해 조성대 남양주시의회 의장, 도·시의원 및 기관·단체장들이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다. 이와 함께 걷기연맹 화도읍지회 회원들과 지역주민 등 500여 명이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다.

시도 8호선 개통을 앞두고 실시한 이번 걷기대회는 재재기터널 차산리 방향 입구에서 출발해 조안면 삼봉리 방향의 반환점을 돌아오는 약 5㎞ 왕복 코스로 진행됐다.
