이번 제309회 임시회에서 시의회는 집행부로부터 2025년도 시정업무계획을 보고받고 총 32건의 조례안 및 동의안 등 부의안건들을 처리할 예정이다.

조성대 의장은 개회사를 통해“오늘부터 열리는 이번 임시회는 금년도 시정업무계획을 보고 받고, 한 해의 정책 방향을 설정하는 매우 중요한 회기”라며,“동료의원 여러분께서는 시정을 설계하는 첫 회기인 만큼 의정활동 중심에 시민의 뜻을 담아 꼼꼼히 검토해주시고, 집행부 공직자 여러분께서는 시민의 입장에서 한번 더 생각하고 계획된 주요 사업들이 차질 없이 진행될 수 있도록 더욱 세심하게 살펴 주시길 당부 드린다”고 말했다.
